In addition to teaching, Roman has also overseen an annual Teacher Training program, helping hundreds of Educators - from Public School teachers to Wilderness Therapy Guides - feel more confident outdoors.

He believes the purpose of teaching is to cultivate freedom, curiosity, and solution-based thinking, all rooted in a meaningful connection to the natural world

Roman lives in Appalachia, where he spends his days raising sheep and walking a mountainside older than the Rings of Saturn.
